Our HyBall product is a man-portable source of 110V or 230V power. It is highly efficient, has no moving parts, is silent and has zero emissions during use. It can provide up to 3kW (4 horsepower) of AC power, enough to power most heavy duty machinery such as sleeper cutters, and tamping machines. HyBall is designed to supply a typical 3 hour maintenance shift with a mixture of high power tools and lighting applications (power availability will depend on factors such as trigger time and fuel tank size)
The extraordinary combination of high power and long mission duration is made possible with our hybridisation of hydrogen fuel cell, and high performance battery technologies. Our patent pending hybridisation electronics allows the long duration fuel cell to work efficiently alongside the high power battery.
